During the coronavirus quarantine of March-June, 2020, I paid brief visits to friends. Outside their houses, we stood the requisite 6-10 feet apart, chatted for a bit - and then we took a moment to pause, to look at one another, to take a deep breath. I raised my camera, zoomed in my lens, and spent a brief bit of time looking closely at my friends’ faces - a point of view not possible at the moment except through a piece of glass. I then snapped one or two shots.
